The North of Scotland is very diverse in both its geography and the people who live here.

Covering nearly 50% of Scotland’s land surface, with a population of nearly 900,000, the area ranges from large cities to small island communities.

Improving the health and wellbeing of our communities here requires collaboration, leadership and innovation.

NoSPHN, the North of Scotland Public Health Network supports this by bringing people and teams together from across the region to plan and deliver public health services and activities.

We are a collaboration between NHS Grampian, NHS Highland, NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland and NHS Tayside.

Our activities focus on where we can add value by being co-ordinated, planned and delivered at the regional level.

Together we advocate for people living in remote, rural and island communities to make sure they are fairly considered

NoSPHN supports professional development of our public health workforce through a range of events and CPD opportunities.

If you have an area of work that would benefit from a regional public health approach or knowledge exchange.

Be part of NoSPHN, and help to create change.
