Speaker:
David Watkin and Kalu Udu Registrars in Public Health Medicine, NHS Grampian
Summary of Session:
The aim of Journal Club sessions is to present a summary of available evidence around a public health topic/question. These sessions are also a space for participants and attendees to discuss and reflect on how the body of evidence has changed their practice in the past, and how it may do so in the future.
Outcomes:
1. Understand the importance and methods of critical appraisal
2. Support participants in application of evidence-based practice

synthesise the evidence and draw appropriate conclusions
